Meet the Founder

Amanda is an independent health & well advocate who has always had a passion for fitness and well-being. In 2007, she enrolled and graduated after completing her Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness along with her Master Trainer qualifications at the Institute of Fitness in Perth. Over the years Amanda has continued to further her education, a few of her additional qualifications include but are not limited to: Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate, Exercising after Pregnancy Certificate, Pregnancy and Exercise, Boxing Instructor, Sports Nutrition, Nutrition and Health Coaching, Motivational Techniques, Wellness Coaching, Certificate in Counselling, Certificate in Life Coaching, Advanced Certificate of Nutrition, Certificate in Nutrition, Advanced Certificate in Nutritional Counselling.

Amanda started out training family and friends in her parent’s garage and local parks before and after hours while she worked a full time job as a local truck driver. In 2014 she started her own journey and Beyond Body made its mark in the local area of Piara Waters. Over the years she has had the opportunity to help thousands of men & women create positive change and lead healthier and more active lifestyles. Her personal experiences and wise knowledge along with her own personal health and fitness journey have enabled her to help her clients on a more personal level behind the scenes, not only a physical one at each training session.

In November 2017, Amanda was nominated as a finalist and chosen as the winner of a local business award for the category of “Inspiring Individual” in the Examiner Business Excellence Awards. After years of effort and determination, this marked the beginning of Amanda and Beyond Body being acknowledged and recognized for success and achievements both in business and also professionally.

In 2018, Beyond Body and Amanda were nominated for multiple Business Awards: A named finalist in the Australian Optus My Business Awards in the category of Fitness & Well being Business of the Year.

A named finalist in the Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards in the categories of Business Woman of the Year and Karl Farrell Inspiration Award, where she was named the winner of the Karl Farrell Inspiration Award.

A named finalist in the Business Armadale Business Excellence Awards in the category of Inspiring Individual. Beyond Body were also named Business of the Month in September 2018 by Business Armadale.

A named a finalist in the 2019 Australian Small Business Champion Awards in the category of Fitness Services.

A named finalist in the Australian My Business Awards in the category of Young Business Leader of the Year (Less than 10 employees) & Fitness, Well-being & Beauty Business of the Year.

A named finalist in the 2019 Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards in the categories of Mentor Award & Achievement Award.

Amanda’s future mission is to empower others and inspire, support and help transform as many lives for the better as she is able to. She believes that old fashioned hard work, consistency and balance in all areas of life is one of the biggest keys to creating the success that a lot of people aspire to achieve.

In 2022, Amanda was hired as the Strength & Conditioning Coach for the South Fremantle WAFLW team for the 2022 season. At the end of the season Amanda received the South Fremantle 2022 Club Person of the Year Award for all her amazing hard work and efforts throughout the season.
