“I was not in the best place mentally when I started in May 2018. The month of May always seems to be a particularly down time of the year for me. I was still carrying a lot of post baby weight and not drinking any water (unless it was in tea, coffee, soft drink or juice). My water input still isn’t the best but I at least drink 1L a day and I have felt much better mentally since joining Beyond Body. “I joined in July 4.5 years ago (I think) I joined to get all over body fit not just running fit (which I was). Over the years my focus has changed. 2 years ago I worked really hard on healthy eating and I dropped a couple of dress sizes. What ever I feel, tired, sick, low energy, unmotivated, coming to class makes me feel so much better. When I started my body did not want to get out of bed I had so many aches and pains (not from class) after a few blocks with BB they all went away. I started on 3kg weights and now do 7kg. “Think I have been with BB for around 3 years. I remember the first session I did, it was a huge step out of my comfort zone, I was so nervous, scared and while working out had to go outside to try and not be sick I am so glad I made that first step and never looked back. “I joined BB at the end of round 3 in 2017 and was in a really dark place after losing both my parents. I had lost my confidence, gain really bad anxiety and hated leaving the house.
